Lorraine Clydesdale
Telemedicine Nurse Specialist
After completing paediatric training and working as a staff nurse in Yorkhill, Lorraine moved to HCI (Clydebank) and worked for 6 years as a Senior Registered Nurse in cardiac ICU. This was an awarding experience, working with children from places such as Algeria. Due to the health provision in Algeria at this time being poor, these children had little early intervention and with complex cardiac conditions, adding to the unfamiliar environment, all made for challenges
In September 2002 Lorraine moved to NHS24, initially as a Nurse Advisor then laterally as a Team Leader. During these years she has had the opportunity to be involved in a number of development projects that have helped establish NHS24 as the largest provider of telehealth services in Scotland.
