Telestroke Rehabilitation

Through the original Telestroke Programme a network of motivated stakeholders was identified, who could not only identify the need for a telehealth solution, but also develop and support it. Along with stroke rehabilitation specialists this network was used to initially identify service gaps in the rehabilitation patient pathway. This allowed stakeholders with experience of telehealth to provide ‘lessons learned’ to those embarking on a stroke rehabilitation telehealth development. The SCTT Telestroke Programme has facilitated the development of the telerehabilitation services summarised in this section.
